Jenny has been with Hanover since 2016 and was one of the original members of the US business. Originally from the UK, she moved here with her family in 2008 and has made Southern California her home. Jenny works within Hanover’s PWM unit, that has successfully moved some of the largest PWM teams in the USA over the years. Her role includes identifying, sourcing and then actively supporting teams to complete a successful and smooth transition to our clients. At any point in time, Jenny will be working with multiple Advisors and teams that Hanover has in the process. Outside of work Jenny enjoys keeping busy! With her entourage of furry friends she enjoys nature and the outdoors, as well as fitness, dance and swimming. It is her passion to travel and see animals in the wild enjoying their natural habitat. She loves spending time with her family, especially her two ‘not so young’ adult boys!

What do you enjoy about your role and Hanover?
I really enjoy the culture at Hanover and the people who work here, we are not only colleagues, but also friends. We have built a nice group in our LA hub who each bring to the table different skill sets, not only that, but we are also all happy to share these skill sets with each other for the benefit and success of each individual and the Company. It’s a fun place to work, I have watched it grow over the last 7 years! We have a great work ethic, but also ‘a great play ethic” where colleagues can be found at lunch playing darts or shuffleboard and board members often having a swift game of FIIFA with their favorite English soccer club! It all makes for a great collaborative and fun working atmosphere!

How do you build great relationships with your clients and candidates?
The answer is quite easy, I just ‘be myself’! I like to be intuitive while getting to know people and get a natural feel for how they are and what makes them tick. I particularly like people with a sense of humor, being able to have fun and laugh at yourself while working is always a good thing! It’s all about finding people with similar values and not taking life so seriously, oh and in some cases having thick skin and being able to take and give constructive criticism. At the end of the day, I want to spend my time at work happy and not wishing my time away.
