As part of its global expansion efforts, London-based Hanover has appointed Tom Carter as Managing Director of their U.S. office. In this role, Carter will leverage Hanover’s robust financial services relationships, with transatlantic engagements already underway within the firm’s leading Insurance Actuarial & Risk practice.

James Emmett, co-founder of Hanover Search Group and Managing Director of the Hanover Search Actuarial & Risk Business, stated, “We have been planning for quite some time to build up a U.S. presence to meet client demand. Before joining Hanover, Tom Carter managed search firm LeaderFinder Consulting for six years, focusing on risk, finance, compliance, and underwriting roles across financial services sectors. He also led the Global Chief Security Officer Practice at Gow & Partners.
