Leadership Benchmarking and Development for UAE Automobile Division: Enhancing Talent Management and High-Performance Culture

A highly successful and fast- growing family company in the UAE, invited Hanover to partner with them to benchmark and develop leaders in their Automobile Division.

Working closely with the CEO and HR team, Hanover:

  • Defined high-performance leadership behaviours for the business
  • Benchmarked senior leaders through an in- depth assessment process
  • Provided detailed individual feedback and coaching to participants
  • Produced composite data and insights to the CEO and HR along with a comprehensive talent review meeting.

Feedback from the CEO, his team and HR was unanimously positive. They noted there was particular value in having their preconceptions and opinions challenged and that this had led to higher quality talent management decisions.

The Hanover team was subsequently engaged to define competencies for the entire business (3 further business units) and undertake a range of leadership and team development activities that are still in progress, including helping them embed the leadership behaviours and 1:1 coaching.

We are also planning further assessment and development projects for Q1 2024 to strengthen leadership and management below senior levels.
