Stephen is the UK and European CEO for Hanover and has worked with us for over 20 years. He sits on the global executive board, acts as the main point of contact for major client development and also executes senior level assignments. Within wider financial services, Stephen has expertise across the full range of disciplines dealing with a wide variety of organisations. He is also extremely passionate about diversity and inclusion and is a Board Director for Hanover’s talent solutions business.

What do you enjoy about executive search?
There are many things I like. The trust that’s built between Hanover, the clients and the candidates; being able to positively impact the lives of the individuals that we work with; and having a positive impact on the growth and success of the organisations that we work with. I also really enjoy helping shape the strategy of our clients’ organisations and being able to offer valuable insights into the industry that can’t be acquired elsewhere. I like ensuring that the process of the journey is smoothly run, professional and engaged, and being able to add a personal touch to the hiring experience and adding as much value as possible to the process. Finally, I obviously like the successful outcomes!
